This Shipping Policy applies to deliveries facilitated through Dlvwy’s AI-powered logistics systems. Since Dlvwy provides AI infrastructure for local businesses, shipping and delivery specifics may vary depending on the business you’re ordering from.

How Delivery Works

Dlvwy’s AI systems coordinate deliveries on behalf of local businesses. When you place an order with a business powered by Dlvwy:

  1. Our AI confirms your order and delivery details.
  2. The business prepares your order.
  3. A delivery is coordinated through available logistics partners.
  4. You receive real-time updates on your delivery status.

Delivery Areas

All deliveries are currently local only. This means deliveries are limited to the immediate area surrounding the business you’re ordering from.

We validate all delivery addresses using Google Maps before an order can be placed. If your address is outside the business’s delivery zone, you’ll be notified before checkout and the order will not proceed.

We do not currently offer inter-city or long-distance shipping.

Delivery Times

  • Estimated delivery times are provided at the time of order and depend on the business, your location, and current demand.
  • Factors affecting delivery include distance, traffic conditions, order volume, and weather.
  • We aim to provide accurate estimates, but delivery times are not guaranteed.

Delivery Fees

A flat delivery fee applies to all local deliveries, determined by the vehicle type used:

  • Bicycle — for smaller, lightweight orders.
  • Motorbike — for larger or heavier orders.

These are the only delivery methods currently available. The applicable fee is displayed before you confirm your order. Some businesses may offer free delivery above certain order thresholds.

Order Tracking

Where available, our AI system provides real-time delivery updates through the same channel you placed your order (e.g., WhatsApp). You can check your order status at any time by messaging the business.

Failed Deliveries

If a delivery cannot be completed because:

  • No one is available — the driver will attempt to contact you. If unreachable, the order may be returned to the business.
  • Access issues — if the driver cannot access your location, they will contact you for instructions.

Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged or with missing items:

  1. Contact the business directly through the same channel you ordered from.
  2. Provide details and photos if applicable.
  3. The business will arrange a resolution (replacement, refund, or credit) per their own policies.

Business Responsibility

Individual businesses using Dlvwy’s systems are responsible for:

  • Quality and accuracy of prepared orders.
  • Setting delivery areas and fees.
  • Resolving disputes related to order quality.

Dlvwy provides the AI coordination layer but is not the seller or shipper of goods.
